But in our four weeks of full time parenting, we have learned lots about our bundle of joy.
- she's a grunter, always always always she's making some sort of noise (and that's partly because the poor thing has non-stop gas)
- she's squirmy, in the hospital the nurses called her "la gusanita" the little worm
- she has an impressively strong neck and will pop up and look us in the eye while being held.
- she looks and feels like a regular baby, so regular that we even have a hard time realizing that she's the same baby that spent a month in the hospital and had tubes and ventilators and was hooked up to the machines. She's a completely different person to us.
- She loves the bath! And we've realized that it is hard to bathe a tiny, slippery little babe.
- she's so cuddly and lovey, I can't believe how much we love her and we've only known her 2 months.
That's awesome! Harper looks like she is doing really well. I love your blogs, Laura! When is Nate heading back to work?
ReplyDeleteGlad to read about your updates with Harper. She is growing so big! Glad she is so healthy and strong!
ReplyDeleteThat's so wonderful. There's nothing like a newborn baby. They are a tiny piece of heaven aren't they?
