...in Latin America. After a very short flight from Miami to Guatemala (2 hours) and some spectacular views of Cuba and Key West, we have finally arrived in our new home country! Nothing much to report yet since we haven't even been here 24 hours but we were given a royal welcome, complete with an Expediter to go through customs FOR us and retrieve our bags while we sat in a room on leather recliners. Then our car was parked in a private entrance to the airport and all we had to do was walk out of that room and we were in Guatemala. Pretty cool.
Checked into the hotel and got some great tacos to which we realized that it is great to be back here in LA. I'm positive Guate will have many differences from Mexico, but so many things feel the same so far and we're happy to be home.
